Why Recruiters Bank on Recruitment Bots?

The mode in which a recruiter or HR person operates in hiring a candidate for a particular post is changing big time. The recruiting panel of many big and small companies across the globe is banking on artificial intelligence supported recruitment bots to get the work done. This write-up is all about why HR’s are banking more on these interview bots to hire people for their company.

The Magic of video interviews

Programmers have come up with an idea to introduce artificial intelligence in recruitment bots which reduces the workload of recruiters to a great extent. In a situation when too many eligible candidates need to be hired, the initial screening round is conducted by the bot itself. Coming in both website and mobile app version, the bot doesn’t require recruiters to monitor it from the back.
The interface is set up in such a way that it can conduct the video round of interview on its own. The chatbot for interview would ask questions to the candidates, conduct MCQ test, analyze emotions and give scores and rankings. Recruiters bank on these bots because its judgment and analysis are human-like. On top of that, it saves time as multiple candidates can sit for the video interview at the same time from their convenient place and they would be judged equally.

The story around the leaderboard

Once the bot is done screening all the candidates, it tabulates the performance of them on the basis of the programmed parameters. It creates a scorecard which has the rankings and marks of each interviewed candidate. The scorecards are handed over to recruiters who find it easy to select the eligible candidates from there and make them appear for the following round.
Apart from the recruiters, the leaderboards along with the video interviews can be shared with the top level management as well if required. This sharing option provided by the chatbot for an interview makes the interview process transparent to all the concerned departments.
